I have come here at my granny's place. There is a large playground nearby. In the morning, I went jogging in the ground for the first time as I was new there.. There, I saw a gathering of youths of around my age. First, I completed two rounds of the ground. It appeared that some competitions were going to be held there. Since I was curious, I ask one of them what was to happen there. I got to know that races, long jump and high jumps were going to be organised. Winners would be awarded as well. Names of willing participants were being registered. I also got my name noted down for 100 metres' race. Registration fee was Rs. 15/- only. Why am I telling you this? The reason is it's a little bit interesting. I don't have a well-built personality that a common youth should have. I have never thought of winning a race. No one can even think of me doing anything in sports. Such has been my upbringing in which sports were considered to be the reason of spoiled life. But, only I know what harm I have had to go through because of not having involved in sports during my childhood. My belief is sports are as important as education. Sports play a greater role in molding someone's personality and ensuring one's over-all development. 

     What I want to say is I participated in the race despite various excuses.

Because, I don't want to be counted in the list of those who accept defeat even before taking part in the game. Even after I got my name enrolled for the race, my mind was trying to distract me, saying that I couldn't win. I objected my mind by saying, 'I will definitely run the race. I don't care of winning of losing.' Exactly, this is what is a must. What do you think?

 HOPE

Signs of eternity    

Still can be seen,

Embodied in distinct forms,

Revealing to the keen.

Plants in spring,

Lawns lush green,

Coos of the cuckoo,

The moon with a sheen. 

Cool blowing breeze, 

Soothing hurt souls,

Buds poised to open, 

Hope out of  fouls.

No need to wait

For the dooms day to come,

Things can still grow

Afresh in rhythm.

NASA's ambitious Mars mission 2020.

 The Perseverance rover, NASA's biggest and most advanced robotic geologist, made a historic successful landing on the surface of the Red Planet. It is the most ambitious Mars mission for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It had been a seven-month long journey before the confirmation of the safe landing was announced on Thursday, February 18, 2021. The Perseverance rover, nicknamed as Percy, has been designed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The mission was launched in July 2020. It's a great news for the world of science and technology. 

The rover is about the size of car. It weighs 1026 kilogram. It's actually a car-sized robotic explorer (a visitor) to the Mars. It has covered a distance of 293 million miles i.e. 472 million kilometres to reach the Mars. The Percy has landed in an area of the red planet, that is known as Jezero Crater in which it has been found in research that a river flowed millions of years ago. That's why there's greater possibility that traces of life can be found there. One of the main objectives of the mission is to search for signs of ancient microbial life on the planet. For this, the robotic rover has 7-feet long arm to move around and collect rock samples from and around the area of Jezero Crater. A new fetch rover will be sent to Mars again to bring back the samples collected by the Percy, as it is not gonna return from the red planet to the earth. Even, the Percy has tweeted after successful landing, 'Hello, world. My first look at my forever home.' (tweeted on behalf of the Mercy by NASA).

The rover is equipped with ground-breaking technology. It has record 25 cameras and two microphones. It has even sent to the earth a few exclusive photos of the surface of the Mars till now. The mission has cost $3 billion. 

Landing on the Mars has always been a herculean task. This rover has been built not just to land on the Mars but to find and collect the best scientific samples that could be brought here on the earth for further research and analysis. Landing is just a beginning, though. The rover will start its 2-years explorations on the surface of the planet. This will pave the way for human exploration of the red planet. If everything goes well, it can prove to be a crucial stepping stone towards NASA's goal of sending humans to explore the Red Planet.

Blessings of Rising Early.

Rising early in the morning has multiple benefits. Here, rising early means at least one hour before break of day. One aspiring to success must develop the habit of leaving the bed before or at least at 4:00 a.m. It always keeps you ahead on journey to bright future. You can see, in your life, revolutionary results like-----

• If you rise before break of day, you become an early bird. You tend to do things earlier than others.

• If you witness how night turns into a beautiful day on a daily basis, you are naturally gonna develop a hopeful personality.
• In the morning, when you get to hear the chirping and singing of birds, it just makes your day and makes you fall in love with nature. 
• You can take a stroll in the calm atmosphere. You will feel refreshed.
• The best thing is you can have enough time for Yoga and meditation that is key to happy and successful life.
• If you develop this habit of rising early, you will be blessed with sound health.
• When you start your day early, you finish your works satisfactorily. As a result, you gain self-confidence and contentment.
• Once you maintain this habit, you also enhance your will-power that is the key factor in the ability of getting things done.You get rid of the worst enemy- 'Procrastination'. 
• Rising early also leads you to finish your working day early. At the end of day, you are left with some spare time that you can spend with your family and friends and have a nice time.
• After having a nice day, you'll surely have good a sleep and a sweet dream.

So, why to be late? Let's get started from now on. We can, we will and we must.

 I want my life in mission mode. No rest. No comfort. No distractions at all. No one can ever stop me now. Free from bed at 4:00 a.m. No compromise with anything negative. I bet. I challenge the whole universe. My journey of life is now on the elevation of personality. No fall is acceptable.  I am all set to follow strict discipline. I openly declare I am standing firmly with truth, discipline and self-restraint. You folks can join me. You're most welcome.
